The Accelerated Recovery Care Program is a method of treatment that is unlike anything available in traditional medicine.
The ARC Program?
The Accelerated Recovery Care Program entails a patient receiving care 2 to 4 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks. The treatment includes a detailed evaluation combined with a variety of treatment modalities to yield previously unseen results in a short amount of time.
The kind of results that typically take weeks or even months can be obtained in one week!
Elimination of aggravating variables
By coming in multiple times a day, patients can eliminate many of the daily stressors of life that often set back their progress.
With a higher frequency of visits and faster reduction of aggravating variables, the chances of making lasting neuroplastic changes are higher.
About the ARC Program
The Accelerated Recovery Care Program is a unique method of treatment typically used only by chiropractic neurologists. Being able to successfully carry out the treatment requires years of training and experience. The program consists of a patient receiving care 2 to 4 times a day over 1 to 2 weeks. Each visit can range from 30 to 90 minutes with a couple hours of rest between treatments.
A high frequency of visits in a short amount of time provides multiple benefits that greatly aid in a patient’s care. During care, your recovery is our sole focus. That kind of concentrated focus eliminates many of the variables that typically hinder care. When a patient receives care only once or twice a week, they are often juggling aspects of daily life, such as work and family responsibilities. These constant aggravators and limited time for home therapy makes it difficult to promote neuroplastic change (i.e., creating new neurons or rehabbing existing ones). The ARC Program eliminates this, increasing the chances of change occurring faster and the patient obtaining longer-lasting results and an improved probability of permanency.
Each patient undergoes a review of their case, a detailed initial evaluation, individualized care, reevaluation and prescribed home therapy. The initial exam and care includes some of the latest technological advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Some of the cutting-edge equipment we utilize at NeuroLogic Chiropractic Center includes RightEye, VNG, Posturography, EQ Brain Performance and NSI.
When a multimodal rather than a unilateral approach is taken to care, patients can attain results that were previously unattainable. Our treatments include techniques pooled from a vast array of chiropractic, functional neurology, physical therapy and occupational therapy fields.
We just returned from Neurologic Chiropractic doing an intensive visit, meaning 2-3 daily visits for 4 days. My 14 year old son, with CP / Brain Injury, who has had over a decade of regular PT and a host of alternative treatments, made such amazing progress. Despite previous treatments, surgery and orthotics, his gait remained abnormal, wide stance with turned out feet to compensate for poor balance and he was still slower than peers. This year in HS, the abnormal gait has been more emotionally difficult fitting in. Dr Muldoon introduced us to an exciting new world, with scientific based treatments that helped him make significant improvement. His balance was finally centered, his chance of falling now falls into normal range. When we left armed with home exercises, my son had shifted his gait to walking with his feet parallel and turned in with concentration. The most overwhelming difference was he had hope and motivation again. Even though he is walking slower to develop new pathways of proper gait, he is ecstatic and willing to do the work to improve. We are returning in 3 weeks for more of this fabulous therapy. Anyone who has been on such a journey knows the plateaus and setbacks of chronic challenges, but this rebirth of inspiration is priceless. I highly recommend seeing Dr Muldoon, his comfortable bedside manner puts everyone at ease immediately and the results speak for themselves. I can not thank them enough for the obvious changes, as well as the remarkable unseen change.

Head–Eye Vestibular Motion Therapy Affects the Mental and Physical Health of Severe Chronic Postconcussion Patients
Objective: The objective of this study is to test whether head-eye vestibular motion (HEVM) therapy is associated with decreased symptoms and increased function in post-concussive syndrome (PCS) patients who have been severely impaired for longer than 6 months after a mild traumatic brain injury.
Interventions: All subjects underwent comprehensive neurological examinations, including measurement of eye and head movement. The seven modules of the C3 Logix Comprehensive Concussion Management System were used for pre- and post-measurements of the outcomes of HEVM therapy. The sessions were scheduled 5 times per day (with a rest period of a minimum of 1 ½ hours between sessions) over a 5-day period.
Results: There were statistical and substantive significant decreases in PCS symptom severity after treatment and statistical and substantive significant increases in standardized assessment of concussion scores. The outcomes were associated with positive changes in mental and physical health conditions.
Improvement of symptoms, balance and gait in a geriatric male with a 5-day intensive combination of visual, vestibular, proprioceptive and noninvasive nerve stimulation.
A Caucasian 80-year-old male chiropractic physician (right-handed) presented with brain fog, poor concentration, poor focus, gut problems, thyroid disease and fluctuating blood pressure. His main complaints were brain fog and difficulty in concentrating. He did not have any history of trauma or drug abuse.
Intervention: A 5-day treatment plan was implemented that involved nerve stimulation of the trigeminal nerve, gaze stability vestibular rehabilitation exercises, proprioceptive targeting on a foam surface, vision therapy and single-axis rotation therapy being performed 3 times daily.
Outcome: After 11 treatment sessions in 5 days, overall posturography testing improved 40.74% (51.614% to 72.644%). His symptom severity scores dropped 82% (69/162 to 12/162). His physiological tremor was absent upon discharge exam. Equal stride length was noted on gait observation in both natural and dual tasking.

What to expect with ARC
At the start of the program, the doctor will perform an in-depth comprehensive examination. All material provided prior to the visit will be reviewed to aid in a detailed patient history. Following the history, various diagnostic tests as well as chiropractic, orthopedic, neurologic and physical exams are performed. A plan of action is then created and executed throughout the week. At the end of the program, the patient is reevaluated and provided with a home therapy program.
Overview of ARC
Detail Initial Intake
In addition to obtaining the patient history and doing a physical examination, diagnostic testing may include: RightEye, VNG, Posturography, EQBrain Performance and more.
Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that includes a multimodal approach utilizing chiropractic, functional neurology, physical therapy, occupational and other techniques.
Detailed Home Therapy Plan
Upon completion of the ARC Program, each patient is provided with all of the tools they need to promote their continued improvement.
Dr. Muldoon has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education with Dr. Ted Carrick and the Carrick Institute. He has also followed Dr. Carrick on multiple rounds of intensive care (multiple visits per day over 1 to 2 weeks) that involve complex cases from all over the world. Dr. Carrick has long been the leading practitioner when it comes to performing intensive care for chronic and complex cases.
ARC Program requires doctors pre-approval
All patients interested in entering the ARC Program must receive approval by the office doctor. Not everyone is a good fit for ARC, so the doctor will review your case to see if you’re a candidate for care. Appointments generally need to be scheduled weeks to months ahead of time due to the amount of time the doctor spends with each patient.
